First setup

Getting Started

Set the app up so generated training has the right athlete profile, integrations, and training constraints.

Who this is for

Use this when setting up a new athlete account or checking that your own setup is complete.

Recommended setup order

  1. 1Sign in with Strava so the app can identify the athlete and connect future activity syncs.
  2. 2Open Settings and confirm timezone, preferred units, training focus, rest day, long ride day, and long run day.
  3. 3Enter FTP, LTHR, and CSS where known. Leave unknown values blank rather than guessing.
  4. 4Enter tested 3RM strength numbers for lifts you care about. Use RPE-based prescriptions until a 3RM exists.
  5. 5Connect Oura or WHOOP if recovery data should influence readiness, prompts, and analytics.
  6. 6Run an initial Strava sync before generating the first week.
  7. 7Generate the week only after the planner choices and Gym WOD visibility are correct.

Minimum useful data

The app can work before every field is complete, but endurance prescriptions improve once FTP, LTHR, CSS, timezone, pool access, and race priorities are accurate.

When a threshold is unknown, the app should use conservative defaults and RPE language instead of inventing numbers.

First week generation

Before pressing Generate week, choose the fixed days in the planner. Pick swim, bike, run, brick, AI WOD, Gym WOD, or rest only where the choice is real.

Entered Gym WOD text is just visible programming until it is selected for the plan. This keeps class programming available without assuming you are doing it.

If the week already has sessions, use Update week choices. That tells the app you want the future plan rewritten around the current choices.
