A first-pass checklist for stale syncs, missing workouts, planner surprises, and data display problems.

Who this is for

Use this before changing settings or asking an agent to write to the app.

Strava did not update

  1. 1Confirm the activity exists in Strava and is not still processing.
  2. 2Use Sync from the app once.
  3. 3Check notifications for a specific failure stage.
  4. 4If sync says partial failure, preserve the error text and inspect the sync event before retrying repeatedly.

Planner kept something unexpected

  • Check the selected chips for that date. Gym WOD only means CrossFit only; Gym WOD plus bike means a deliberate double day.
  • Use Update week choices after changing an existing week.
  • Use Recalibrate only after dragging existing sessions and wanting them rewritten for the new date.
  • If a visible Gym WOD appears under completed work, that is a bug unless it was selected or matched to an actual activity.

Settings look wrong

  • If unit display reverts visually, check that the profile update route and the rendered settings state agree.
  • If thresholds are missing, prescriptions should fall back conservatively rather than blocking the app.
  • If a recovery wearable disconnects, reconnect from Settings before expecting recovery metrics.
